How to Order

Delivery

We aim to despatch your order the same day if received by 2 p.m. (Monday – Friday) or if later, on the next working day.

Small parcels by Royal Mail are usually sent First Class recorded delivery and Courier parcels are usually delivered in 1-2 working days. Please be aware that your order will require a signature on delivery, so if there will be no-one at home please give us an alternative delivery address such as your place of work or a friend’s address, or give instructions such as “leave with neighbour if out”

If you do miss your delivery you should receive a card through your door with your parcel ID number. If it is a postal packet you will need to collect it from your local postal depot. If it is a courier parcel you can phone the number on the card to arrange a redelivery or collect the parcel from the courier’s depot. In either instance you will need to take 2 items of ID. If you do not contact the delivery agent within 7 days they may return the parcel to us. If you have any problems please contact us by phone or e-mail.

Once we have dispatched your parcel it is out of our hands and may occasionally be subject to delay in transit. If you have not received your goods in 3 working days please contact us so that we can track your parcel.

Please check the parcel before accepting it. If it shows any damage please sign it as “damaged”. This enables us to claim for any damage to the contents from the Courier. If someone else is signing for your parcel please pass this instruction on to them.

Please check your order right away and if any item is missing from your parcel or if anything is damaged please contact us within 48 hours or we may not be able to help you.

Returned Goods

If you change your mind and wish to return your goods we will accept them for a full refund of the purchase price provided the goods are in perfect, unused condition and in their original packaging and are returned to us within 14 days.

We do not refund delivery costs or pay for return delivery. Goods returned after that time will be subject to a 15% restocking charge.

Payment 

Our prices include UK tax at the current rate. If you are ordering from outside the UK and the EEC we can usually deduct this tax from your purchase.

We accept most debit and credit cards through a secure payment gateway which complies with all security standards. Your card details will not be available to any unauthorized party.

We also accept Paypal. 

You can send a postal order or cheque, remembering to add the appropriate post & package charge. Goods ordered by postal order will be dispatched straightaway but cheques may take up to 10 days to clear.

If you are ordering from outside the UK your credit card company will convert the transaction into your own currency.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this condition in case a mistake has been made in pricing, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. 

In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. If the item is not in stock we may suggest an alternative.

When items are out of stock we will place them on backorder until they come into stock. We will notify you before we dispatch them and if you wish you may cancel them. We will not charge you until the items are being dispatched.

If you wish to order a spare part or a pole section which we do not carry in stock and which we have to order for you we will to take payment details and will consider this order to be a contract. If you order an incorrect section we may not be able to accept it as a return as shipping charges and suppliers restocking costs can be too expensive. If you are in doubt please ring us and we will do our best to advise you.
