their successors Greys have taken nothing away but improved the
composite materials where needed; to ensure that these new rods
outperform anything on the market.
In the modern carping age, a marker rod is now an essential piece of kit. Using a marker rod will help give you a better understanding of the lake bed and enable you to find features such as depressions, gravel bars, weed beds and silt gulleys. |

| For the Marker Plus rods, Greys have enhanced the blank
construction so that this rod is capable of casting big leads and
markers to the horizon. These blank improvements are combined with a
ground down rod tip section for increased responsiveness. This
provides the perfect balance between a powerful fast taper butt
section flowing into a reactive and sensitive tip.
The standard 12ft Marker Plus is able to cope with leads up to 4oz and is the perfect multi range rod for all but the most extreme distance marker work. The rod guides have been upgraded to Greys G-LiteTM Ultralite SIC guides with a standard 40mm butt to a 12mm low profile tip.

| The new Greys Spod Plus rods build upon their predecessor's
impressive reputation. We have enhanced the blank construction to
allow for a smoother progression of power through the rod whilst
retaining a lightning fast tip- recovery speed for accurate spodding.
Improvements to rod balance and blank torque help to optimise
casting performance no matter what size of spod you are using. The
rod guides have also been upgraded to our G-LiteTM Ultralite SIC
guides.
The standard 12' Greys Spod Plus is the perfect tool for baiting up at ranges up to 100yds. You will find the blank is easy to compress with a wide range of spods; propelling them out with the minimum of effort.
